This goes for pictures you may have uploaded and deiced not to publish, or ones you think you have deleted or your old social media accounts taht you thought you deleted? All that information is STILL up there. Perhaps the only way to dissociate ones self against a checkered past is to completely disappear. Changing your name may avoid fans but who do you pay to change your name? If you pay the government, you know that they know who you were before. Your new name is now only an alias and the government gets paid for your paranoia .
In fact very few have the wherewithal to really disappear. You need money and connections to completely vanish and all your connections must be severed. Few people like Elvis or Hitler were able to do this but that was before internet as well, right?
